Jill Sellers began as President of Main Street Gettysburg in April 2021. Jill comes to Main Street with a wide array of experience split between two distinct professional careers.

First, upon graduation from Middlebury Institute of International Studies with a Master and Bachelor of Arts in International Policy, she served for 15 years as an Intelligence Officer for the Defense Intelligence Agency and as a Counterintelligence Program Manager for Northrop Grumman. In the midst of that career, she met her future husband Shane, and in 2002, they were married in their favorite place – Gettysburg! Jill eventually resigned to start a family; they settled in Wyoming and were blessed with two sons. Jill launched her public service career as Board President for Weston County Health Services and Hospital Foundation and was later appointed as County Manager.

In 2019, they were presented with the chance to relocate to Gettysburg and gladly accepted! Jill waited patiently for an opportunity to serve this special place and knew immediately that Main Street was a perfect match. She has experience with boards, strategic planning, policy management, budgets, grants, and community leadership. Above all, she believes in building relationships that bring people together to create a positive impact in the community.

“I thrive on public service and being connected to my community, so this is like a calling for me. It’s a dream come true – to live in and to serve Gettysburg.”
