PDC Welcomes New Managers Montez Parker and Ryan Norris

Montez Parker

Elm Street Manager

Salem Square Community Association

Montez Parker enlisted in the United States Military directly after graduating high school to become a United States Air Force Police officer. Within two years of Montez’s Air Force career he became the only Airmen in his squadron to hold the position of Non Commission officer for a sector that oversees the training of forces on defense biometrics identification systems, vehicle license and registrations for a population of 13.5 thousand personnel.


Montez is excited to take on the Elm Street Designation. After serving our country across the world he has returned home to become a change agent in his home town!

Besides Montez’s outstanding job performance he is well known in the community for his public service, holding a Presidential position for a non-profit Military organization, “Security Forces Association”, coordinating events with Japanese tax officials grossing well over six figures. When Mr. Parker transitioned out of the Air Force he was selected to publicly interview for City Council at the age of 25!


Montez Loves walking his daughter Alanee Parker home from school and taking surprise snacks to her pre-school "Sunshine Christian Academy".



Ryan Norris

Main Street Manager

Castle Shannon

Ryan Norris moved to Castle Shannon this January to become part of the community as Castle Shannon’s new Main Street Manager.


Born and raised 1 of 6, in the suburbs of Philadelphia, he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English/Communications. Ryan has worked in Business Development since college, most recently for the Corporation Iron Mountain as a Business Development Associate.



He has also won many awards including the 2014 Business Development Award in Phoenixville.

Ryan has experience working with the Borough of Phoenixville, the Phoenixville Chamber of Commerce as well as PA Downtown Center, National Main Street Center and many other organizations. He has also served on the Historical Architectural Review Board working with Facades and Designs.


As Main Street Manager, Ryan is dedicated to the revitalization and success of Castle Shannon. He has already created a Business Association with Castle Shannon business owners. He’s planning many monthly and annual events. He is also dedicated to updating and maintaining CastleShannon.org which will include a Virtual Mall to Shop Local Shop Shannon and a new Gift Card program. There is much more to come!
